Warm Welcome!

While at university, Maryann invited me home to her house for a few holidays.  My own home was too far away in Calgary.  Maryann's Mom and Dad, and later Lili, made me feel extremely welcome.  The conversation was wonderful.  It usually went like this: "Sue - Have some more. Eat!"  but besides that, I enjoyed listening to his opinions, so logically expressed.  I always left feeling a little sad that it was too late for adoption.  Even to the end, Maryann's Dad said that his shadow will welcome me even if he isn't here.  I will forever remember his warmth and charm, and it is with a very heavy heart that I join you all in saying good-bye.  My deepest sympathy for Lili, Maryann, John, Christian, Nikki, Helena, Susu, Theresa and her family and to all who loved him.
