Visiting Ron in Hospital also reminded me of the 'good ole days' when I was young spending time with the Watt family. I have such fond memories of when our parents got together with many of us cousins to celebrate something or nothing. Miss them all, rest in peach cousin, I am sure you are all celebrating in heaven! xo

Although I am filled with sadness, I will never forget how brave and optimistic Ronnie tried to be while fighting this illness. I am grateful he was in an Ottawa hospital for a few months. It gave my husband, Jim, the chance to meet him and gave me an opportunity to relive my teenage years. He was so happy to connect with his family and cousins. He made a point of driving to Ottawa to see cousin Helen, who was visiting me from BC. He made another great effort to attend the birthday party of our cousin Donna in Bethany. Jim will always remember his chats with Ronnie about football and history. I will just always remember that very handsome young man who always smiled at the world. You’re in my heart forever.

Fond memories of Ronnie. As i type this i am still in shock just hearing of his passing in an email from my Brother Frank. I had no idea he was that sick i was under the impression he was doing well.. Having just landed in Vancouver BC from a flight from Toronto sadly not in time to get back for the service. Too bad as i was just in the Whitby area last week. My memories are fond ones of Ron[s smiling face and constant laughter which the Watt brother's passed on to all of us kids My thoughts with you all and thinking fondly of his dad Victor and his Mom to-night it will be tough time trying to sleep.
