The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Peter Yawney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

To Shirley and to your blended families, may I tell you that it was a happy day in our lives when we first met Peter & Shirley. We knew you both as our Florida/Canadian friends. Peter was ever so charming and oh so willing to help out wherever he could. His passion for life was infectious and you could not help but grin until your cheeks hurt around him! I would like to share with you a very special quote by – Erma Bombeck “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me.” And you So Did Peter!
