The Man I Knew

I met George at my branch Legion when Joe and I joined Branch 10. He was the nicest friend you would want to have. Loved playing cards, loved being with people and would give you the shirt off his back.

I have had the great pleasure of seeing George almost daily for the last 2 years and visited him at Maple and Sunnybrook. He was always cheerful. His memory went some but that was OK we still knew it was George.

I shall miss him, always remember him, and I feel good knowing that he is now happy wherever he is.
