Born in Marienburg, Germany in 1938, the oldest of five children. In the early 1960s, met her husband Francesco while both working in Switzerland. Immigrated to Canada in 1964. Loving mother of Aldo and his wife Erin. Proud grandmother (“Omi”) of Megan, Natalie, and Rachel. Gisela was a one-of-a-kind person, possessing incredible strength, energy, and creativity. She enriched the lives of all those around her, and will be forever remembered by all of her family and many friends.
