It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Katheleen on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 94. Through many health challenges Katheleen fought and persevered to continue with life and welcomed each day with a positive outlook, strength and resolve. Katheleen is now reunited with her loving husband the late Marian Turek. Much loved mother of Yvonne and Christopher (Teresa). Cherished Grandma of Ryan (Marie), Matthew and Lauren. Proud GGK of Olivia and Luka. Predeceased by her siblings Sydney (Rita) Lowe and Thelma McCulloch. Katheleen will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the Staff at the Village of Sandalwood Park for their care and compassion during Katheleen’s stay. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (north of Rexdale Boulevard), on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
