With thanksgiving to God our Father for a life well-lived, a foundation well-laid and an example well-set, the family of Božo Pajković hereby announces his passing from life temporal into life eternal as only made possible by the finished work of God the Son, our LORD Jesus Christ. Affectionately known to the English-speaking world as “Bob”, Božo died peacefully in hospital on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the age of 88 and full of years.
Dearly beloved husband of Ivanka, cherished father of Marcel (Julie-ann), Edward (Sybille) and Daniel (Sabine), and loving grandfather (“Dido”) of Matteya, Hannah, Peniel, Edward Jr., Emmaus, Ethan, Ezekiel and Jennica, Božo will forever be remembered for his bravery, ingenuity, generosity, and gentleness of heart. His remarkable and radical pursuit of Truth took Božo on an extraordinary journey from a refugee camp in Italy to the garden tomb left empty by the risen Messiah in Israel; indeed, his incredible exploits will stand as a testimony and source of inspiration to others in search of the City whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:10) for years to come.
Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), the family and bodily tabernacle Božo dedicated as a vessel for use by God the Holy Spirit will be available for visitation on the evening of Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service and interment to follow will be kept deliberately small and by invitation only – the Pajković family greatly appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.
