It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Domenico Daniele D’Urzo on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Devoted father to his beautiful daughter Mia. Beloved son of Teresa and the late Francesco. Dear brother of AnnaMaria and her husband David. Much loved uncle of Ilaria and Mattea. Cherished grandson of Maria (the late Natale) and also of the predeceased Domenico and Anna. He will be dearly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Domenico was an exemplary family man; his big heart always open to help or support his loved ones. His most special and dedicated love was in being a father to treasured Mia. Domenico was talented at everything he did. He had a keen eye for delivering elegant detailing in the many home renovation projects he undertook and was one to always find a solution for every on-site challenge he faced. He was a passionate Montreal Canadiens fan, he was proud to cheer on his Bleu, Blanc, and Rouge and never missing the opportunity to follow Team Ferrari on the Formula 1 circuit.
Visitations will be held at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 3-5 pm and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Prospect Cemetery.
