It is with great sadness that the family of Owen Kenneth Boreland announces his peaceful departure to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 93. Dearly beloved husband of the late Mirriam Fredreka Boreland nee Trowers. Loving father of Jennifer, Kenneth Jr (deceased),Novlet, Marcia, Novlette, Humphrey, Ian, Prestley, Sevon, Maxine, Muriel and Merdella. 35 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Owen will be sadly missed by his family, sister, nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.
Owen will forever be remembered for the love of his family, his guidance, thoughtfulness, kindness and inspiration to those he met along the way.
Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. Burial at Longwood, Clarendon, Jamaica.
