It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Filippina Mandarano on Tuesday, November 29th at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Giuseppe Mandarano. Survived by her children Anthony, Teresa and Rosemary, and their families. Cherished Nonna to 7 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. She will be remembered by extended family and many friends. Filippina (Pina) spent 12 years with her extended family at Villa Colombo in Vaughan, where she was loved and cared for. She enjoyed attending mass and praying the Ava Maria. She loved having her nails painted, going for walks, espresso in the piazza along with cookies. She also liked to colour, play bingo and most recent play with her abacus toy. She would love the concerts and enjoyed singing along to all the Italian songs. Visitation will be held at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke (north of Rexdale Boulevard), on Monday, December 5th from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11:30am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
