BALDASTI, Joseph (Joe) -
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Baldasti on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the age of 87. He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family and his devoted wife of 67 years, Sidonia Baldasti (née Findler). He will be dearly missed by his two daughters Rita (Harold) and Peggy (Kevin). He was such a proud Opa to Bryan, Liam and Graham, Hailey and Riley who loved and cherished him dearly. He is predeceased by his three brothers Paul, Frank and Steven. Joe will be missed by his many family, friends and neighbours.
Joe had an incredible smile and a warm caring heart that endeared him to all that met him. His strength, love, courage and generosity will be forever in our hearts. Joe with Sidonia lived a full life, enjoying family, many travels and their vacation home in Florida for 34 years where they spent their winters.
To honour Joe’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (north of Rexdale Boulevard), on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 11:00am – 1:00pm followed by a service in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00pm. Inurnment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7300 Highway #27 (south of Highway 7 on Highway 27), Woodbridge.
