It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Joan at Etobicoke General Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Joan is now reunited with her beloved husband Robert. Loving mother of Joanne and Andrew. Cherished and proud Grandmother of Holly and Bretton. Survived by her sister Donna (the late Donald) Smith and predeceased by her brothers Dalton, Teddy (the late Giselle), Brock (the late Marilyn), Roger (the late Marlene) and Scott. Joan will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, neighbors and friends. To honour Joan’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends for visitation at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1 pm. until service time in the funeral home at 2 p.m. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto would be appreciated.
