Peacefully at Lakeridge Hospital with family at his side, on September 8, 2022.
Bill is survived by his wife Elizabeth Campbell Bennett and Siblings Thomas Bennett (wife Lynn Bennett) of North Bay and Joan Greer of Powassan, Ontario. Daughter, Kathy Christian of Brighton, Ontario. Predeceased by son Robert Bennett of Whitby, Ontario in July 2018. Also survived by numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Bill was originally from North Bay, Ontario. He later settled in Oshawa and then Whitby Ontario. Bill fabricated and sold waterbeds and furniture at his store in Bowmanville Ontario and later started Bennett Chem Dry, a carpet cleaning business in Whitby, Ontario.
