It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Shirley Woodgate of Whitby on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her loving husband Hal Woodgate. Beloved mother of Cam Woodgate (Anna) of Stony Creek, Jennifer Van Alstyne (Brad) of Whitby and Tara Flannery (Tom) of Okotoks, Alberta. She was an amazing and caring grandmother to Brandon and Noah Van Alstyne and Matthew, Jonathan and Rylee Small. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held in the Niagara area in the near future. Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and condolences may be expressed online at wctownfuneralchapel.com.
