Peacefully at Owen Hill Care Community, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the age of 88. Dearly beloved wife for 58 years of the late Paul Karpowicz. Devoted mother of Chet (Barbara), Lucy (Bruce) and Larry. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Irene will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
