I taught with Glenna at West Lynde Public School and for many years, she joined a group of retired teachers from this school for lunches and dinners. I send my condolences to her family and friends and I am so sorry to hear that she has passed away.
The photos of Glenna that have been posted are lovely and I think that she looked like Queen Elizabeth on her wedding day!

Your Mom was a precious person as you well know. A couple of my children were blessed to have her as their grade one teacher at E.A.Fairman. When my husband passed away in 1983 Glenna was one of the first people to come to the house to offer any assistance we needed. She had baked a cake for the children which they greatly appreciated. We had many a chat over the years since as we caught up with one another before the church service started whenever her health allowed her to come out. We had a Zoom coffee time chat with friends from St. Mark’s this morning and your Mom was the main topic of discussion. It was wonderful to hear everyone’s stories and treasured memories of Glenna. You are all in our prayers. God bless. Dale Kalnay and family
