I have so many wonderful memories of Catherine; too many to count but all have a special place in my heart. I was blessed to have Catherine and Albert as my Godparents. I always knew how lucky I was. Even with her large brood, Catherine never forgot my birthday and always had something special for me and my daughter at Christmas! Incredible! Megan and I always made a point of stopping by 32 Rockcastle on Halloween, knowing that Catherine and Debby were waiting to see Megan's costume and give her an extra special treat. My parents were particularly close to Catherine and Albert, loved having them live around the corner. They loved golfing together - mom and Catherine with the Swingers, and dad and Albert at Weston. Catherine, Albert and Debby were at countless of our family functions, never missing my parents' birthday celebrations. My parents fondly remember inviting Catherine, Albert and Debby to their condo in PCB after a busy day of golf and shopping for some wine and hors d'oeuvres - they never declined the invite. Catherine, Albert and my parents spent countless Friday nights and Sunday mornings (after mass, of course) at "the club" with the rest of their gang. Catherine will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be greatly missed. We find comfort in the knowledge that Albert and Debby were waiting to lovingly greet Catherine with open arms.
Much love and big hugs, Carol, Gerry, Carolyn and Megan MacLean

i will miss Grandma a great deal. she was a beautiful image of what a loving and supportive wife and mother can be. i hope i can take that image with me in my own journey. she was here to see me become a mom and she met my two babies. i am forever grateful for that. 32 Rockcastle holds so many amazing and cherished memories for myself (and im sure i can speak for my cousins). she was the hub of it all. Teas, snacks, popsicles in the basement, helping with dinner when we were older and craning our necks to get a view of the adult table at festive dinners. ill remember holding her hand at church. that bright blue long jacket she wore....her smile. love you Grandma. thank you.
