RATE, Carmen Anthony (1943 - 2020) -
It is with love and sadness we announce the passing of Carmen Anthony Rate on, December 18, 2020 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 77. Loving and devoted husband of Janet for 56 years. Father of children, Wendy and her husband Mike, Cindy, and Tom and his partner, Chere. Grandpa always loved, supported and encouraged his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica and Jacob. Known as a jokester, his heart was huge and would always be there if you were in need. Carmen was retired after many years surviving the streets as a Truck driver and loved what he did. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Due to COVID there will be no service. A celebration of Carmen’s life will be held when gathering restriction have been relaxed. Online condolences may be expressed at newediukfuneralhome.com
