The family of Anna Detta Colli sadly announce her passing on October 15, 2020 in Oshawa. Anna left Italy with her young son Enzo in 1952 to join her husband Emilio and begin a new life in Canada. Her second son Gian Carlo was born in Canada and Anna’s life here was defined by hard work, as she was dedicated to ensure her family had a better life than the one she left behind. Anna was predeceased by her husband Emilio, her son Enzo, and her great grandson Dominic. Anna will forever be remembered by her son Gian Carlo (Janet), her grandchildren, Sarah (Brandon Timney), Lisa (Sean Graydon), and Marcus and her great grandchildren Vivienne, Anna, Bernadette, Edith and Malcolm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby, on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:30am. Masks are mandatory and all COVID-19 precautions will be in effect. Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and condolences may be expressed online at www.wctownfuneralchapel.com.
