Jake was a cherished long time bowling acquaintance of our family. Always bent over backwards to make sure our trophy awards for Brampton Bowling Centre were on time and done correctly and delivered on short notice. Was a pleasure knowing the Hall of Famer Jake Hellewell. May your strikes be many and your headpins few Jake. Rest in Peace!

Hi Kathy and Jodie, it's Ken Stefoff. I want to express my deepest condolences to you both and your families. I apologize for not being able to attend at all. I have Leukemia so with this Covid pendemic I have to be extremely careful, hope you understand. I just want to say a few things about your Father. Jake was a very loving and caring man to everyone lucky enough to meet him. He was always very kind and generous even to people who barely knew him. Jake's passing has an extra deep sadness in my heart as he is the last of the notorious six, the pretty much inseparable group of best friends. When the group were all together everybody would know because the laughter and joy would be so fun sounding that other people wanted to join in and they actually did with open arms from all six. People say that time will heal the sadness in our hearts after the loss of loved ones, let me tell you that is one of the most false statements anybody could say. It may feel easier some times but the warmest memories you will think about every day for the rest of your lives. Cherish the memories and allow yourselves to shed a tear with every memory in your being. Again, my deepest condolences to everyone.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Jake. Jake was quite the character and loved by all who knew him. He was a very big influence in the bowling world and on to his trophy business. Always fair, always caring and never a dull moment. Jake will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Sincerely. Steve and Heather Messina and family.
