Passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the age of 70. Predeceased by her loving parents Guerino and Nella Di Iorio. Dearly beloved wife of 48 years to Tony Bellisario. Cherished mother of Tanya and her husband Ted Biribauer. Loving Nonna of her grand fur baby Chewy. Dear sister of Tony Di Iorio (Maria). When Vera was born, she was proclaimed to be the Fiori Di Pietrabbondante and her baby picture appeared in the local newspaper. She excelled at everything she did and achieved perfection. Vera will be lovingly remembered for her extraordinary cooking and baking skills, energy, strong spirit and immense love she shared with family and friends. She will be truly missed by her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, from 1pm to 6pm and Wednesday August 5, 2020 from 1pm to 3pm. Funeral Mass to take place at Transfiguration of our Lord Roman Catholic Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, Toronto on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 1pm. Private Interment to follow.
