Obituary for Rosalie Radyk (Wasylyk)

RADYK, Rosalie (Rose) -
After a remarkable life, our family matriarch left us peacefully (from natural causes) on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the age of 98. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Bill. She is loved and remembered by her 2 daughters Nia (Dan Cameron) and Christine (Paul), grandchildren Becky (Curt), Kaley (Alex), Josh (Carolyn) and great-grandchildren Jordan, Grace, Brynn and Theo. Loved dearly by her sister Muriel and many nieces and nephews. Rose was a very successful businesswoman and founder of Georgetown Bowl (along with Bill and brother Peter). She was the 1st woman president of the Bowling Proprietors Association of Ontario and was very active in promoting the bowling industry. She was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage. Her lifelong devotion and faith in God served her well in many of life's challenges. Her caring and generous spirit touched all who knew her. We are so blessed to have had her to love for so many years, an extraordinary gift from God for us to treasure. A special thanks to everyone at Kipling Acres Long Term care for their outstanding care and compassion for Rosalie. You have our sincere admiration and appreciation, especially in these difficult past few months. Private family arrangements have taken place. A celebration of life to follow when it is safe to do so. Donations may be made to Kipling Acres Long Term Care or your favourite long term care home, or Daily TV Mass (National Catholic Broadcasting Council) call 1-888-383-6277 @ dailytvmass.com.
