(August 1941 - December 2019) -
Pauline passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Brampton Civic Hospital. Born August 14, 1941 in Brookvale, Prince Edward Island, Pauline was formally named Mary Margaret Pauline and was the second child welcomed into the world by Louis and Annie (Smith) McManus. Pauline left Kelly’s Cross and moved to the city of Toronto in 1959. She married the man of her dreams, the late Joseph Gerald Murphy of Maple Plains, Prince Edward Island, in June of 1962. Taking on the exceptional role of devoted wife and mother, Pauline leaves behind her three children Kimberly, Wendy, and Jeffory. Predeceased by her younger brother Damian McManus in 2015, she is survived by her two sisters, Hilda Mulligan, and Barbara Flanagan. She will no doubt be missed by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews. We will all miss you dearly mom. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Airways Parish, 7407 Darcel Avenue, Mississauga on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. (Due to the pandemic, limited capacity and seating will be available at the church. Masks are required by all in attendance and social distancing will be in effect.). Donations can be made in memory of Pauline to the Canadian Cancer Society.
