Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Humber River Hospital on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of forty-three years to John Miele. Loving mother of Michael (Victoria) and extremely proud Nonna to Michael Jonathan and Olivia Marie. Dear sister of Frank (Yolanda) and Angie and sister-in-law of Michelle (Nick). Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Marietta Esposito, brother-in-law Mario and sister-in-law Rocca. Will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Teresa thoroughly enjoyed gardening, baking and travelling when she could. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, playful Nonna, and loyal friend, who could strike up a conversation with anyone and whose will to live, fight and be positive was unparalleled. A heartfelt thanks to the many doctors, specialists and nurses throughout the years at Toronto General Hospital (Peter Monk Cardiac Centre, ICU Hemodialysis Unit), Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and Humber River Hospital (Emergency Department and ICU), who treated Teresa like family and in the end with dignity and love. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Blvd.), on Friday December 6, 2019 from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Parish, 2194 Kipling Avenue, Toronto on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:30am. Entombment at Prospect Cemetery.
