My heart goes out to Linda's family. We met at Scarborough Players in 1988 at an audition, and we were both luckily cast in the same production of The Man Who Came to Dinner in bit parts, and we became friends instantly. Linda's smile lit up her face, her voice commanded your attention and she always spoke so very fondly of her family. We laughed a lot, we worked together a lot in the theatre over the years, and I will always treasure our memories.

In June/July of 2001, I had the pleasure to direct Linda in the Scarborough Players production of Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers.
Linda played to old Grandmother - a tough character. Linda was a joy to work with and was brilliant in the role.
I recall standing at the back of the house at curtain call, Linda came onstage for her bow and a nearby audience member said, oh my goodness how did she get all that make-up off so quickly. All that Linda did was smile - a radiant smile. That is what a good actor she was to physicalize the character and what a great smile.
My condolences to her family.
take care
Katherine Turner
