Raymond Donnelly Sr, 81, husband of the late Sadie (Bond) Donnelly, of Barrie, Ontario and formerly of LaPlante N.B. passed away suddenly on Saturday July 27, 2019 in Petit-Rocher, NB.
Born in Campbellton N.B., he was the son of the late Delphis and Evelyn (Roy) Donnelly.
He was retired from the Toronto Transit Commission and a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Toronto.
He is survived by his six children:
Raymond Jr. (Shellie) Etobicoke, ON,
Donna Gardner (Daryl) of Barrie, ON,
Debbie Bray of Brampton, ON,
David Donnelly of Barrie, ON
Cindy Donnelly of Airdrie AB,
Cheryl Welles (Shane) both of Airdrie, AB,
10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Brother: Henry Donnelly (Diane) of Montreal, QC,
Three sisters: Evelyn “Lily” Boudreau of Madran, NB,
Irene Donnelly of Beresford, NB
Bella Donnelly of Bathurst, NB
He was predeceased by his brothers: Delphis (T-Boy) Donnelly Jr., Jerry Donnelly, Wallace Donnelly
He was predeceased by his sister: Gertrude Lavoie
Several nieces and nephews.
The family invites everyone to continue the celebration of their father’s life at the Mandarin Restaurant starting 12:30pm at: 200 Queens Plate Dr. Etobicoke, where they can purchase a reasonably priced lunch.
Donations in memory of Raymond can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
