Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 101. Devoted husband of Maria for 77 years. Loving father of Rose (Renzo Subrizi), Emily (Joe Fragomeni) and Dina (Ian Rose). Predeceased by his son Antonio and daughter Teresa Calabria. Cherished Nonno of Mary (Derek), Armando (Carrie), Carmelo (Natalie), Diana (Edwin), Robert (Marianna), David (Nancy), Andrew (Kristen), Danielle (Robert), John, Laura (Julian), Lily, Alycia (Chris), Stephen (Laura) and Michael (Elizabeth). Proud Bis-Nonno of 23 great-grandchildren. Carmelo will be fondly remembered by Serafino Calabria, Anna D’Agostino, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (north of Rexdale Boulevard), from Friday 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 2547 Kipling Avenue, Toronto, on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
