It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their dear father Charles on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 87. Charles will now be reunited with his wife Iris (1991) and wife Freda (2015). Loving and devoted father of Linda, Mary Hunter, Bruce and his wife Carol, and Denise. Predeceased by his daughter Catherine and her husband Phil Merchant. Proud Grandpa of 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Kathleen and her late husband Phil Jewel. Charles will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Ave. (north of Rexdale Blvd.), on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be would be appreciated by the family.
