It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of their husband, father and grandfather at Etobicoke General Hospital on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the age of 88. Devoted and loving husband of Mary for 62 years. Cherished father of Sharon. Proud Papa of Alysicia and Natalie. Predeceased by his loving parents John Glackin and Sarah Glackin (nee Doherty). Survived by his sisters Louie and Sophie. Predeceased by his brothers Jim, Paddy, Sean, Danny, David and Dermot. Much loved uncle of Moya and her husband Terry, Josephine and Paul. Denis will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family, friends and his loving dog best friend Kaiser. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (north of Rexdale Blvd.), on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1pm in the funeral home chapel.
