MORRISON, Allan -
Peacefully, at Fairview Lodge in Whitby on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Allan beloved husband of 68 years to the late Eva Irene. Loving father of Douglas Morrison (Lynda), Jo-Anne Warren (Alan), Pam Rene (Rick) and Shelley White (Frank). Cherished grandfather of Jeff, Brad (Jackie), Amy, Andrew (Lisa), Shanna (Wally), Ryan (Mary) and Samantha (Bobby) and great-grandfather of Riley and Autum Rene, Ella Warren, Sofia and Brooklyn Morrison and Asher Coucke. Dear brother to Bill (Linda) Morrison, Dorothy (Bill) Gardner and June Brown. Allan was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Olive Morrison, sisters Barbara and Doreen and brother George. Allan had many interests which included gardening, golfing, curling, needlepoint, watching sports, and he was a handyman around the house. Allan was also a fantastic fiddle player and he loved to play good old country music with his friends at house parties. We will always remember Dad for his kindness, caring and generosity. Special appreciation to Fairview Lodge for all their loving care and support. Mr. Morrison will be resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East in Whitby on Monday, October 15th 2018 from 12pm to 1pm. A service will follow in the chapel at 1pm. Interment to follow at Groveside Cemetery.
