VAN BERGEN, Alex -
Peacefully in Etobicoke, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 90. Dearly devoted husband of Martine. Beloved father of Sandy (1979), John (Renée), Elisabeth (Brendan) Ward, Annette and Sonja (Greg) Schryer. Loving Opa of Alex, Erin, Matthew, Nicholas (2018), Renée, Anneke and Lily Kay. Cherished brother of Angeline (2018), Matthieu (2003), Elly and Tinie. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
