Condolence From: Pat Papoushek
Condolence: Dear Louise, Bev and Jane: Regretfully, I was unable to attend your mother's funeral. However, I am certain there were a few laughs mixed in with the tears. We were neighbours for many years on Kent St. However,it wasn't until a few years before Alma moved that we got to know each other, mainly during our walks through the neighbourhood. She was the best dressed walking companion I ever had. Once in awhile we would have a cup of tea together. At these times I would hear about her family - how proud she was - and show me her most recent pictures. Her wicked wit came through unexpectedly now and then in the form of a phone call because she had a 'joke' to tell me.

With fond memories, Pat Papoushek.

Condolence: Louise, Bev & Jane – I am sorry to hear that you lost your Mom. I hope you are able to celebrate all the wonderful memories you have of your Mom. The memory that comes to mind for me was when I went to chat with your Mom about finishing my University Degree. Your Mom told me, “No one was going to hire me with half a University Degree…” I will always be grateful for her words of wisdom. Take good care of each other! Darlene

Condolence: Jane, Bev and Louise and families:
I am thinking of you and your Mom and the times we've had together over the years, always involving laughter and stories of her travels. I know you will miss her terribly. Treasure the memories and remember them often and may they bring you laughter once again. I loved her. I am praying for you, especially on Monday, and will continue to as the days pass and you learn to live with her memory. May you be in His Light, Lynda

I was so very sorry to hear about your Mom. What a wonderful, strong role model she is and how blessed you were to have her as your mother.
I wish I could be there to give you all hugs and share some happy memories. We sure had a lot of fun times at the lake and beyond.
You are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
Take care,
Karen, John & family

Condolence: Louise and family,
I was so sorry to read about the passing of your Mom. I'd often see her walking up Walnut Street on her regular walks as I sat on the veranda with my dad. I'd say hi but I'm not sure she remembered who I was. Wishing you and your sisters my deepest condolences.
