Condolence: Mr. Hutchison was my grade seven teacher. I am entirely thankful to him for helping me through my grief after my father died, the year before. It seems like God put me in his class, because I needed a father figure desperately. In his class, I remember fondly that I belonged, despite the fact that I was an academic "loner". With a gentle voice, and such an expressive face, you could see this old school gent would approve or disapprove. I sat at the back of the class, but this teacher, for me and I'm certain for every kid in that class, put my needs *always* at the front. Thank you, Mr. Hutchison for showing me what a real teacher ought to be. I hope my students today can see a glimmer of you in my teaching. You are missed, and never forgotten.

Condolence: Sending my deepest sympathies to all who loved this wonderful man! He was my favorite teacher and holds a special place in my heart and memories. I had the pleasure of working with his wife for many years and enjoyed running into him when he would pick her up after work. Rest In Peace dear Mr. Hutchinson, I know Gennie is happy to have you by her side once again.

Condolence: There are so very many students from Heatherbrae ('82-'85) and after from West Humber JMS who are filled with sadness this evening. Mr. Hutchison was a consummate professional. Everyone's favourite teacher. His soft spoken, gentle and caring nature made it very easy for the students to respect and look up to him. Had past students known of your dad and grampa's passing before tonight, I am sure Newediuk's would have been overrun with many grateful and adoring students wanting to say a final farewell to a man who really touched all our lives. Thank you for sharing your dad with us Rexdale kids. He was truly one of a kind.

Condolence: We first met back in 1970 when a whole new crop of teachers arrived at Heatherbrae Middle School on Kipling Ave. Little did we know that the following years would be some of our best. During those eventful years, we worked together, laughed and cried together, raised families and even managed to play some hockey together. Life is made up of memories and Chuck has been a big part of my memory bank. Sleep well my friend. We will be playing hockey and swapping tales again some day as this path of life continues to unfold.

Condolence: I began working with Chuck in 2000 as a colleague I enjoyed Chuck's many stories about his grandchildren James and Myles and the girls both Bobbie and Sandi and how he looked forward to his 12:01 Friday afternoon hockey with the boys. Chuck shared many years of knowledge with his students at the Colleges after he retired from the Board of Education Chuck was a true gentleman who loved life so thoughtful, kind and always had time to listen. Chuck will never be forgotten! He is ONE of a kind and will be missed dearly

Condolence: Charlie was one of the best. Always loved to see Genny and Charlie when they ventured home. His last few years were tough, with Genny's passing and the stoke he suffered. Jack had the pleasure to be one of Charlie's team-mates as members of the Douglastown Combines. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Condolence From: Michael Bokla
Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the Hutchison family, Hutch was always fun to be around. I want to thank him for making me feel welcome in the weekly Friday skates at Albion arena back in the day - I have never forgotten that. It's ironic after nearly 30 years of teaching I have been placed at his old school - West Humber JMS. I can feel his presence there. I want you to know that Hutch will be missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace. Michael Bokla
