Hey dad… it’s me again. Things have been busy this year but I want you to know that you’ve been on my mind just as much as every year. Ruth and I are hoping and praying for our baby and I hope you can help if you aren’t too busy. Our daughter will be named Lily as I remember you always talking about how much you loved that name. Everything I do is to honour you. You are the only person I hope is proud of me.
We’ve been looking at getting another dog and Ruth mentioned the name “teddy”. It melted my heart. We will always remember you. Ruth always has the sweetest things to say about you. I love how much she loves you and only wish she got the opportunity to meet you. I know you’ve had your special moments together as she mentions them to me and I know they come from you as well. It makes me feel so happy that you two get to still share a special bond.
I can’t wait for our child and to share with them all the special moments you shared with me. I love you daddy. I always will. You are the man who made me who I am. I always think about that. I always will. I live and love to make sure the world knows who you are and the impact you’ve had on this world.
I’ve accomplished a lot this year. From awards to being named the Constable of the year. I did this for myself and my family but also for you. You drive me to be great. You and Ruth are the only people
I care about feeling good about what I do. I wish you were here to celebrate with us but I’m thankful that Ruth never lets us forget you. Again I wish you were here to meet her. She would love it so much.
When we have our child we will always remember you. You will never be forgotten. You are one of a kind and made so many positive changes in this world. Wish you were here now when I need you. I listen for you often. I hope it’s you guiding me still. I love you dad. I always and forever will. Take care and hope you are doing well.
