I am a childhood friend of Julie's and spent a lot of time at the Oakley's home.  One memory of Betty that I think of often is she used to tell me if you have a Hall's cough drop every day it will keep the colds away!  It seemed to work.  I have very fond memories especially hanging around hoping to be asked to dinner when steak & kidney pie was on the menu!

I am sorry to hear about Betty's passing and my condolences go out to the whole family.
