Jennie’s Jardin From St. Vincent she came, young, bright-eyed and hearty. Looking for love, adventure and sometimes even to party. She married, raised children and tended flowers and shrubs. Oh, how she detested encounters with big, slimy grubs! On friends and co-workers, she bestowed veggies and bouquets. Her shinning eyes and dimpled smile sure brightened our days. Friendships she cultivated, kindness extended in many ways But disrespect her beloved Habs, you encountered a red haze! We had many laughs in our years and shared stories of our life We rejoiced in our good times and commiserated during strife. Sometimes we disagreed but never caused feelings to harden And I am so lucky and proud to be a part of Jennie’s Jardin! Sharron Arnold
