Condolences

Condolence From: Lorie REYNOLDS
Condolence: My mother, Mary Reynolds, was a long time friend and bridge partner of Joans. Back in the day, mum would make her annual trip to Joan & Wally's condo in Florida. Since my mom's passing on, June 12, 2010 - almost 8 years to the day of Joan's passing - Joan and I kept in touch. We had a lovely chat on the phone just prior to her death. I sent her the annual Christmas Card in 2017. I didn't receive one back from her. Now I now why... Joan was a very kind and wise woman. She was a connection to my mu, to my brother Mike and I. She will be missed.

Condolence From: Peter, Lynn, Lauren and PJ Nykilchuk
Condolence: Aunt Jone was called by my Uncle Wally, my mom Jean, grandmother Rose and her own mother to join them. While she will be sadly missed by all of us here, we must take comfort in the knowledge that she is with her family. When she was laid to rest on a sunny Friday all I could think was that She and Uncle Wally were playing a round of golf as the were reunited. We miss you dearly and will carry the thought of you with us always. We love you and miss you.

Condolence From: Kathy and Erminio Marchesan
Condolence: My husband and I were next door neighbours of Wally and Joan Mudry for 29 years. We were shocked and very sad to learn of Joan’s unexpected passing. Last Sunday I visited Joan at her new apartment and spent five beautiful hours with her talking about many things. She loved her new place. A mass in memory of Joan will be offered for her soul at St Gregory’s Church. Kathy Marchesan

Condolence From: Robert Stewart
Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. I worked with Joan (and Wally) for the past 30 years and never once was she in anything but a happy sounding mood. I visited her on Friday and Joan was as bubbly as ever - even made me lunch. I am unable to attend on Friday but my thoughts will be there. What a great lady ! Bob Stewart ( Oshawa )
