Condolence: Donna and family, my condolence in the passing of Allan. I had the pleasure of growing up with Allan in the Moore Park/Rosedale neighborhood and enjoyed every moment of our friendship. Condolence From: Rob & Wendy Burton
Condolence: Dear Donna, We were so sorry to learn of Allan’s death. We will never forget the difference he made in our lives, persuading us to move to Toronto. We have especially fond memories of the wonderfully funny extended toast he gave at a birthday party for Rob, in which he hilariously reassured Rob that there was still time for Rob to make a mark in life since many before him – including Ferdinand Magellan – had not done anything before 40 either. We found him to be a wonderful friend and we’re sure his absence is keenly felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Sincerely, Rob & Wendy

Condolence: What a fantastic husband, father ,grandfather, God father and to Margie and I a larger than life human being. A friend always in on our thoughts and for me from the age of 19 where we met at Huron College. So many fun times at Stoney Lake for so many years. He will always be The King of The Lake. Wherever we met and whenever we met he never changed. A true and dear friend. We are sure you will be supported today by Allan's many friends and of course the legion of wonderful Big Al stories. Our thoughts and wishes will be with you and the whole family. Uncle Lorne and Aunt Margie

Condolence: Donna, Mark, Stacey & Alyson I share your loss of a special husband, father and a great friend of mine. "Big Al" Memories, what great memories! From Huron College, to the "Ceeps", to the Gordie Gordson house with Lorne and Paul - great years. Then Stoney Lake beckoned with many more great memories. From "training" our kids, to cook-outs on the rock, New Year's on the ice and crazy floating dock dinners - it goes on! Your visits to Mexico with Donna were very special as were our dinners in Toronto. It's been a great ride my friend. Rest In Peace. JD

Condolence: Allan was a warm, witty and generous spirit who as a youngster I considered to be a second father. I picture him in his element- at Stoney Lake - BBQ tool in hand, tube socks and a great big grin. I am sad not to be with the Chapmans, my surrogate family, when they celebrate and mourn the loss of Allan. He will be missed by many. Love and hugs to all from Spain. X
