Condolence: I had the good fortune of working with Rick at CAMH. He was a kind and compassionate nurse who provided care and support to some of the most vulnerable people in our city. He treated people with respect and believed in their dignity. His gentle nature welcomed people and put them at ease. I had also learned Rick grew up in the neighbourhood I now call home, and I valued learning about the history of the neighbourhood from him. My condolences to his family, and friends. He is missed.

Condolence From: Margaret Buis and Lisa Trudel
Condolence: Please accept our deepest condolences. Rick was a truly wonderful Nurse and CAMH colleague. A cherished memory was from October 2010 when we bumped into Rick on a downtown Toronto street after Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer. Less than one hour after leaving the doctor, Rick appeared as if not by accident, and was kind, compassionate and concerned. He helped more than words can express, and we shall both miss him. He will always be remembered.
